Sustainability

It is obvious that organic farming and environmental protection are connected as organic agriculture targets at the sustainability of our natural resources to ensure the well-being of next generations. Since 1989 emerged from the organic farmers cooperative BioG, all enterprises in the Oikopolis group aim at protection of the natural resources. Additional to ecological sustainability, social and economic sustainability are main values integrated in companies’ strategy. Driven by the concept of associative economics, the established network of enterprises emphasises cooperation and solidarity throughout the supply or i.e. value chain from organic farmers to all stages of processing and trading up to the final consumer.
